One of the definitions of the term Business is the social science of managing people to organize and maintain collective productivity toward accomplishing certain particular goals, usually to generate profit. Isn’t it amazing to see that this definition automatically makes many common things as foundations of business? Well, interestingly, it can even include religion, can it not? YES IT CAN! :) In fact, religion is one of the best platforms to make profit, IMHO. It can make you money, it can make you popular, it can give you power, it can even kill!

Medieval Crusaders convinced simple peasants to take arms against the Semites so that they can "go to heaven"! The poor believed it! Reprobates like Dennis Prager splits the hair between the words kill and murder to justify bombing Hiroshima is "scripturally a moral act", else he claims World War II would have still continued! Yes you guessed it, many neo-cons believe this rationale whole-heartedly! Tell me, who would not love to hear from their preachers that "God does not want us to be poor"! Sadly greed makes many to say Amen to this question! Who would not love to hear that it is "God’s call to segregate people of different color and ethnicity for the betterment of each group"? Apparently many believed, that’s why we had apartheid in Africa and slavery here in our country!

It is always easy to prey on people who has little or no understanding of themselves; the people who lack strong self-esteem and individualism! These folks normally flock in groups, work in groups and even think in groups, if at all they think! They mostly have a leader; a con-man who leads them like dumb flock of sheep. Of all institutions, Christian religion has become a notorious institution for these kinda con-jobs, like this Rev. Wright’s church, where Obama attends for the past 20 years. He is using the pulpit to spread a message of segregation, a message of hatred. Obama claims he heard only Gospel from him, but he knows it’s a lie, for how could a message advocating racial-segregation & hatred for their fellow brothers-in-Christ can be either considered as teachings of Christ or embedded with the Gospel? Institutions always influence its members, in fact society as an institution affects us all too, in one way or other. But, I think certain intuitions are deliberately created for profiting from preying on other’s innocence (or stupidity). The danger with these type of institutions is that their members eventually become the leader themselves, meaning become elements of what their leaders want them to be, because of their long exposure to false doctrines. Obama and ever-angry Michelle Obama are the victims of such a sad conditioned-process, I think.

p.s. As the scripture says The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders - [2 Thessalonians 2:9]. And as born-again believers (if Obama is born-again) we were also admonished to identify these counterfeits diligently and not to give-in to them; the Holy Spirit is our only council, in the words of Apostle: As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit - just as it has taught you, remain in him - [1 John 2:27].

Many imagine Satan, with his red face and green tail... may be with two horns... lol, will appear in front of the believers and confront them directly!!! I have no clue how this reptilian figure was coined when no one has ever seen him! lol. According to the Scriptures, devil’s snare for the believer is not some visible daunting gallows or deep pit of fire; if so even a dimwitted specimen will runaway from such a blatantly ‘obvious’ snare lol. The very fact our Scriptures call it a ‘snare’ clearly implies that it is a ‘trap’, to which men fall without knowing that they are falling, and surprisingly, even refuse to accept that they have fallen after falling! ...amazing veil indeed, that God in His good pleasure has deliberately placed on the eyes of those that were destined to perish!

So, how do believers recognize this snare? Well, by an incredibly simple litmus test - The Christ. If the scripture (or a ‘version’ of Christianity) is used for any thing else other than Christ, then it is not from the Holy Spirit, but a snare from the devil, period! Devil always twists the scriptures as a snare to distract his target from the ball - Our Savior (and His sweet Gospel); Christ is the ‘only’ link that we have between our reality (our current life) and our hope (the promised life); hence everything else, however good and reasonable it may sound, by all counts, it is definitely a snare! The sad news is, modern-day Christianity in our country has evolved itself to be a perfect snare – it has become a political movement, it has become a moral police, it has become an organization that is busy going after embryos and abortions, in fact most Christians here unlike other nations seem to bother more about the judges in their supreme court, than their own awaiting judgment. And shockingly, they fear many nations and nationalities than they fear their own damnation decreed upon them from the pearly throne; pathetic is their state, like the five foolish virgins, only to hear the voice from the groom “I know you not” when the time comes!

Nevertheless, as believers, our comfort rests on Christ, and since we are born-again our eyes should see the craftiness of the devil’s twists, without being veiled like the rest; the wise will see the snare laid for the foolish, as the scripture proclaims, unlike the reprobates all of us ‘the elects’ are ‘sealed’ by the Holy Spirit and that’s why the great liar Satan is so frustrated with the believers!

Let’s not take our eyes off the ball: our Christ. Let our knees fold, let our tongue cease to blabber, and let our heads bow in fear as we see the Christian-Right rush toward the snare laid for them.

One of the sure manifestations of our fallen nature is the arrogance of attempting to interpret the Scripture "presumptuously" as Augustine states humbly when he began his commentaries, and it is not surprising at all to see such a thing happening even now as it happened several times in the course of our human history in the past, when Christianity deliberately distracts from the set-course for a brief moment and try to interpret scripture to match the radical ideology that a small group wants the society to swallow (through spineless masquerade such as intelligent design, abortion etc)! Although excited by lot of success initially, takes profound humiliation in their attempt, shame and defeat from unexpected corners in the end, and then reverts back to the right track, i.e., the age-old sweet Gospel, with humility; not to mention taking its toll on both sides of the double-edged sword in this "course correcting" process! - is this part of our Master's grand plan?

But there are a few wise, who are immune to your trickery, and they know very well what you are crafting by this fake "immigration concern" that you seem to have embraced all of a sudden! Let me read your mind:

1. There are 2 formidable foes to eradicate; Giuliani and McCain

2. Giuliani has lots of baggage, he is a cotton candy, all he needs is a small spark at the right time (just before the primary may be!) to bring him down in a day or two! So lets keep him puffed-up for a while...

3. McCain is the real pain in the a**, if not eradicated in time, he will turn the tables around, as he does every time to every one's surprise! Hence, at every available opportunity, lets see to that he is demonized and painted as root of all evil!

4. Now for the positive campaign, lets take our master chameleon Mr. Romney, paint him as THE indispensable alternative; not on his own merits, but on his challengers' misfortunes (who else, Giuliani and McCain). By the time all your listeners (victims, to be precise) try to connect the dots to elucidate your craftiness, here comes the final assault... the Hillary outbreak scare-tactics!! People, do you wanna an antidote for her, here is Romney, the magic chameleon! Bingo, a Mormon indeed becomes the Whitehouse resident! lol.

For a moment let’s forget the Democrats, lets think about us, us alone. Why should we always have to define ourselves in the context of Democrats; cant we not examine why we failed rather than spending all our time in exploring why they won! Let us be honest to ourselves and seriously examine our shortcomings. No spinning, no tap-dancing, let us pragmatically analyze why we failed.

IMHO, here is what we should do, if we desire to get to the bottom of our mess:

1. Let us drop the lame duck statement “although we lost, conservatism won”!
2. Let us drop the myth “most of us stayed home, and that’s why Democrats won”
3. Let us drop the sour-grape statement that “Rick Santorum lost because most of the electorates are old in that state, hence they don’t care about his vision”! (this rationale leads to either he didn’t have any vision when he won in 1995, or all who elected him became “senior citizens” during his tenure! lol)
4. Let us drop the wishful thinking that the “Mainstream media has become the Drive-By media or the Dinosaur media, hence they don’t influence the population anymore”! They do, and much more than the democrats, they are more qualified to assume the victory this time.
5. Let us drop the myth that “there is no such a thing called Moderates, everyone is either a conservative or a liberal”!
6. Lets drop the damage control slogans such as “everyone is a fallen creature, hence people tend to make mistakes”! (if so, calling the left “culture of death” becomes a joke)

The bottom-line is this, that if we comfort ourselves with our own lies then we are deceiving no one but us. Hence let us do a honest stock-take of what happened on November 7th; no spinning, no bias, no talk-show style con-job or what so ever, let us try to assimilate what really went wrong against us (or what went in favor of democrats). Once this clear substratum is laid, then we can come-out with a plan to fix the mess.

I think, we should gather all points of view, even from the winners shamelessly, to help us understand and do a through analysis quantitatively. Sadly, I don’t see it happening now-a-days, instead I see everyone panicking and arriving at all sorts of stupid conclusions and plans in haste!!!

Hilarious enough, we haven’t even gone through the aforementioned exercise formally, not yet, nevertheless, 2008 presidential candidates are being lined up!!! For a change, can we all think?
